Nesco Resource has partnered with a growing construction company located in Hilliard OH to fill a Warehouse/Material Manager position with their organization. As a hands-on warehouse manager, you must achieve/maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping items to serve customers effectively. Oversee various daily procedures and quickly resolve problems, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
Direct shipments and resolve logistical challenges by communicating with project managers, transportation providers, manufacturers, and suppliers. The Warehouse Manager/materials Manager determines standards for quality control and inspects inventory and packaging before sending orders to the next location.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct: Logistics Specialist

- Materials, Equipment, and Vehicle Tracking
- Efficient Space Utilization
Duties/Responsibilities: - Responsible for all interior and exterior warehouse management, tidiness, and safety
- Tracks and manages all warehouse inventory
- Must ensure all job supplies are properly staged before the job is scheduled
- Coordinates through project coordinator and project managers with weekly plans on all materials needed
- Ensures all inventory is per month stock quota and changes orders to ensure stock is kept correct
- Responsible for ensuring all material and supplies removed from the warehouse are tracked per job tracking
- Responsible for ensuring all shipments are received, undamaged
- Accept only orders that have been delivered when requested
- Must log all deliveries per Buildertrend requirements
- Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, that order slips match, and have the appropriate signatures.
- Responsible for ensuring all damaged, returned, or extra materials are returned within seven days and tracking the credit memo to the accounting
- Responsible to ensure any damaged received items are returned and new items received within the timeline of construction needs
- Accountable for reporting discrepancies in warehouse levels immediately to the COM with a plan of change
- Set up the layout of the warehouse and yard and ensure efficient space utilization .
- Completes shipments by processing and loading orders
- Basic knowledge of all applicable state and federal OSHA and other related laws and regulations concerning operators and maintenance, inspection, and operation of equipment
- Maintains the security of vehicles, equipment, and facilities
- Ability to follow directions
- Required to attend ongoing educational classes (minimum of 4 per year on product knowledge)

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Authority: - Submit monthly inventory orders through approved vendors and follow the purchase order process
Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience is required
- Forklift Certification
Physical Requirements: - Able to work in extreme weather, lift up to 50 pounds, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods of time; have unimpaired hearing; able to distinguish between colors; read printed materials
- Must be able/willing to comply with all safety procedures and required PPEs
- An acceptable driving record is necessary
- An in-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
