We're looking for a talented and motivated Supervisor of Inpatient Coding to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operations of our coding department. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely or at any of our facilities, making it convenient for you to balance work and life.
What You'll Do:
Lead and inspire our inpatient coding team, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver their best work every day.
Collaborate with our Coding Manager/Director to plan and coordinate coding activities effectively.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including workflow processes, staff scheduling, and productivity monitoring.
Coach and train staff to enhance their skills and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Use your expertise in ICD-10 and PCS coding to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding standards.
Serve as a resource for other departments, providers, and system leadership, fostering collaboration and communication.
What You'll Bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is desired, along with a two-year associate degree.
Five years of experience in technical or professional coding, with a strong understanding of coding management principles.
Certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS is required.
Supervisory experience is preferred, but if you're ready to take the next step in your career, we're here to support you!
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with electronic coding systems.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
