Job description
Northwest Excavating Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Superintendent with “substantial” managerial experience – especially with dry utilities. The Superintendent position works a full-time schedule, 5:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime/nightwork) and earns a competitive annual salary of between $100k and $115k - with an a nnual bonus equaling $50k per year average (more info upon inquiry). The ideal candidate is responsible for reporting to the office/yard in the morning and finishing off day managing various crews to aid daily operations at the designated job site.
- Valid Driver's License
- “Substantial” experience as Superintendent – especially with dry utilities
- Excellent time management
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading Underground Utility plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of local jurisdiction specifications
- Live within Los Angeles/Ventura County
- Experience working on smartphones, tablets & Emails.
- Ability to work with numerous contractors and subcontractors in an efficient manner.
- OSHA certifications are a plus.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- US work authorization
- Fluent in English
- Though rare - be prepared to work nights.
- Take a Predictive Index for behavioral and cognitive assessments.
- The position is unavailable for remote work.
