Job Purpose

As a Capacity Planning Manager, your primary role is to meticulously oversee the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) process, manage production capability exceptions, and ensure optimal balance in Plant and Warehouse Load/Capacity. You will lead the interface with Manufacturing, provide input for Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and drive process improvements for efficiency gains. Your responsibility extends to maintaining master data accuracy, supporting projects, and fostering seamless communication among planning teams, manufacturing, logistics, and other stakeholders. Your role is crucial in ensuring the robustness of the Supply Chain, contributing significantly to meeting demand and optimizing operational capacities.

Key Responsibilities

Capacity Planning:

•  Create an aggregated DSI (Demand, Supply, Inventory) for Wood BU Region within the IBP (Integrated Business Planning)- horizon.
•  Develop and manage BU Region RCCP (Rough-Cut Capacity Plan) across production sites.
•  Address production and warehouse capacity exceptions, devising mitigation scenarios.
•  Lead Make-Supply and Deliver-Supply Gatekeeping meetings to align on plan deviations.
•  Provide input to IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and S&OE (Sales & Operation Execution) governance processes.
•  Maintain and update production and warehouse capacity settings in the system.
•  Collaborate with CI team to implement detailed plans for capacity improvement.

Key Performance Indicators for role:

Supply bias/production plan adherence.
Optimal balance in Plant Load/Capacity.
Warehouse Load/Capacity below agreed threshold.
Secondary: On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and Manufacturing/Logistics Costs.

Level of Autonomy

You will independently:

Balance production capacity within allowed tolerance.
Adjust distribution plans to avoid warehouse overload.
Manage communication and stakeholders.
Prioritize action plans to ensure site and warehouse capacity is within target.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum 6 years’ experience in FMCG, Paint/Coating, or Retail industries.

Additional Skills Necessary for role

High-level experience in Supply Planning, IBP processes, Planning tools, SAP ECC, and BI.
Change management expertise with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Stress resistance, flexibility, and problem-solving attitude.
Strong project management skills.
Credible, trustworthy, and open to new ideas.
Results-focused with good problem-solving skills.

Compensation/Benefits


The salary range for these skills is:  $90,000 - $100,000.00.  This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
