Fitness Center Director Needed for NASA !!

MedTrust is now accepting applications for the Fitness Director at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, to provide health, fitness, and recreation services to the employees at NASA Langley Research Center.
Schedule is Monday-Friday no nights, weekends, or federal holidays!

Specific Duties/Tasks:
Develop and supervise member orientation programs: policies, procedures, forms, and coordination with Clinic
• Coordinate fitness center orientation, instruction, and re-evaluation regarding equipment utilization, body composition, and health risk appraisals
• Design, write, and consults suitable individual exercise prescriptions; develop program according to clients goals and objectives; track each participant’s progress
• Design, coordinate, and implement wellness programs: special events, new member recruitment, retention, wellness education, and collaboration with the Occupational Health Clinic
• Develop, implement and monitor fitness center goals and objectives
• Provide general dietary information and nutritional analysis for participants
• Instruct and coordinate a variety of group and personal exercise classes
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
• Performs and/or oversees general cleaning of the fitness center and sanitizing of the fitness equipment daily
• Maintain fitness records in database of member
Requirements:
*Possess a Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology or a related health/wellness or fitness degree OR equivalent experience.
*Personal Trainer Certificate
*Group exercise experience
* One year experience within the last 3 years in a similar setting
*Required to use the computer systems that are standard for the support of health care delivery
*Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
