Hours: Standard University business hours:

8:30am - 5:00pm (academic year)
8:00am - 4:30pm (summer)
Hours may vary based on operational needs.
Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:
The Budget Support Associate oversees all financial operations of the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the Gebbie Speech and Hearing Clinics. This includes budget planning, tracking, and management of diverse funding sources (unrestricted funds, sponsored funds, endowments, and gift funds) in adherence to university and sponsor policies. Responsibilities encompass grant management for individual faculty, handling accounts payable and receivable for clinic operations, payroll processing and allocation, expense transactions (including credit card reconciliation and purchase requisitions), generating regular fiscal reports, ensuring accuracy, and proficiency in using insurance payment portals and outside agency payment systems. The role demands a detail-oriented and proactive individual with the ability to navigate various university systems and clinical electronic medical records systems.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent plus 5-8 years of work experience in accounting and administrative experience required.
