Job description

KBW has partnered with a publicly traded, national organization in Waltham on a search for a Senior Financial Analyst. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years' financial analysis experience--budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling--out of large, public companies.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned business units with the creation of financial models
• Analyze financial statements to produce "what-if" scenarios for leadership
• Produce annual operating budgets in partnership with division leadership
• Provide variance analysis on actual vs. budget and explanations for difference
• Apply regulatory requirements to all work product; work to ensure process improvement
• Ad hoc reporting as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting 
• 4+ years' experience in financial analysis and modeling
• Ability to work with alrge data sets and manipulate information
• Advanced Excel skills--models, lookups, pivots
