The Oregon State Police in Salem, Oregon is hiring for one (1) Full-Time, Permanent Operations & Policy Analyst 1 position.

What will you do?

In this position, you will provide analysis and support to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Unit, preparing written summaries and conclusions of research on unit objectives. You will evaluate program administrative systems, develop, and recommend administrative rules, policies and procedures that supplement and enhance agency operations. You will monitor daily unit activities and make decisions on how to ensure the unit runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will prioritize daily and weekly workload to support the completion of DEI Action Plan objectives and agency strategic goals, and the OSP mission, ] in accordance with department policies, rules, procedures, timelines, and Oregon laws. You are responsible for following the expectations of the office and working independently with little to no supervision to fulfill those expectations with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.

Minimum Qualifications (these must be addressed in your resume for full consideration):

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills;


OR


Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

The salary listed is the non-PERS (Public Employee Retirement System) qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%. Please review the
