JOB TITLE:   Intern – Audit Department

Entity (SFG, SCB): SCB

Location: Moorefield, WV or Leesburg, VA

Job Classification: Temporary Part-Time/Non-Exempt

Department: Audit

Reports to: Director of Audit

Education requirements:

·4-year college degree, or currently pursuing

Experience or Skill requirements:

• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Inquisitive and have a desire to gain knowledge through experience
• Ability to follow instructions after provided and work independently on multiple tasks
• Computer experience required, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to maintain information in a confidential manner
• General knowledge of data analytic scripting preferred (e.g., SQL, Python, R Programming, etc.)

Duties:

• Assist audit department with special projects as assigned
• Import, scrub, export, profile, verify, sort, group, combine and sample data
• Perform low-risk audits under supervision
• Develop analytical scripts for assigned audit projects
• Document results of analytical testing

· Create visualization reports for results of analytical project

· Other duties as assigned

Relationships:

The Intern could potentially work with all SCB employees, as audit projects transcend across multiple departments. The Intern will report directly to the Director of Audit.
