10% travel, most likely for training
This position will be joining the Modification group (responsible for equipment mods, demo, deinstallation/deconstruction of equipment)
There is an opening for Day shift M-F and Compressed Shift (7AM-7:30PM) back half of the week (Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday) -- Candidates should be open and committed to either shift prior to submittal
Ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, ability to follow direction, understanding of instructions
Military experience preferred; degree is a plus but not required
Manager likes to see candidates who have hobbies that show technical/mechanical experience (working on cars, home projects, building things etc.)
Qualifications:
Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study; Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
4+ year previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
Excellent customer interface skills is required.
Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools .
Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair and/or installation of company equipment and company procedures are required
Physical Requirements: Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required.
