Job description
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are excited to assist clients with planning customized travel experiences. As a Travel Consultant, you will act as an advisor, provide destination information, answer travel questions, and resolve emerging problems for clients with care and efficiency.
Your main goal is to deliver exceptional customer service while coordinating travel requests. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for helping clients, values communication skills, and thrives when problem-solving. You will confidently investigate issues and troubleshoot if you need more information to assist clients. Responsibilities: - Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, interests, budgets, and preferences. Research destinations thoroughly to craft specialized itineraries. - Build rapport and trust with clients through interactive, open communication. Identify needs to ensure complete satisfaction. - Provide accurate information on travel locations, transportation, lodging, passport/visa requirements, travel deals, etc. Supply valid travel documents in a timely manner. - Manage all client accounts. Record interactions, document details, and file records. Follow communication procedures and guidelines. - Handle complaints empathetically by listening, apologizing, and offering alternative solutions within time limits. Follow up to confirm resolution. - Promote current travel promotions and perks through social media platforms. Requirements: - Proven success handling high-volume phone inquiries and actively listening to clients - Access to phone, computer, tablet/laptop, and other tools to communicate - Customer-focused with ability to adapt to diverse clients and situations - Polished communication and presentation skills - Self-motivated learner, driven to provide exceptional service - Excellent multi-tasking and time management skillsJob tags
