We are seeking a Senior Estimator who will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering estimates for commercial and/or industrial projects. This position will be part of our construction team and reports to the Estimating Manager.

The Senior Estimator is responsible for delivering accurate and timely estimates for each project, negotiating with vendors and subcontractors for materials and labor, overseeing and coordinating project bidding, and evaluating the scope of work. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the construction process and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Develop subcontractor scope of work documents and bid packages
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for materials and labor
• Manage and oversee project bidding
• Evaluate the scope of work and identify any potential risks or areas of concern
• Develop and maintain cost estimating databases
• Analyze market trends and other technical data to develop accurate project estimates
• Perform risk analysis and prepare geotechnical reports
• Provide project management and support to ensure successful project completion

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating and bidding on large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and field experience
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Excel, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Digital Management, Primavera P6, and ProEst
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
