Job description

Hilo Bay Cafe in Hilo, HI is looking for one host/hostess to join our 18 person strong FOH team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phones and booking reservations via Tock
• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
• Estimating wait time for guests
• Accepting take away orders via Toast POS and delivering orders to customer's cars
• Contributing to the cleanliness of the restaurant
• Assisting with running food, bussing, sanitizing, and resetting of tables

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Strong organizational and motivational skills
• Prior POS knowledge is helpful
