The Digital Media Specialist will support and work with the Director, Digital Media & Intranet, and the AVP, Public Relations & Communications, as well as the broader Corporate Communications team to enhance Crum & Forster’s brand, both internally and externally. They will collaborate on and affect all project phases from brainstorming through execution, delivery, measurement and reporting across digital communication channels, including, but not limited to, social media, intranet, website, and direct marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, creative, inquisitive and collaborative, with proven experience developing and delivering digital content across multiple platforms.

This is a hybrid role working in the Morristown, NJ or Eatontown, NJ office.

What you will do for C&F:

• Plan, create and publish content to social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, and Instagram), as well as C&F’s company intranet (BERTI)
• Utilize storytelling to develop engaging content for company intranet and external digital channels.
• Write content, and design and/or edit photos and graphics (in Photoshop, Illustrator), and video (Premiere Pro and/or Camtasia, AfterEffects, Photoshop) for all digital channels, while adhering to brand standards and approval processes, in alignment with campaign objectives/approved messaging
• Enable and help train cross-functional teams to leverage social channels.
• Track social and digital content (Google Analytics and manually) on a weekly and monthly basis and analyze metrics to determine an optimal engagement strategy

What you will bring to C&F:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 3 years social media experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite products, specifically Photoshop
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS, SEO, and Camptasia a plus.
• Insurance industry experience a plus
• Superior business writing, creative writing, and editing skills with excellent grammar and strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in decentralized organization and comfortable managing work streams and projects concurrently with multiple team members
• A highly-organized self-starter with a sense of urgency, a roll-up-the-sleeves and can-do attitude
• Working knowledge of social media best practices and evolving trends to create compelling content, increase followers and enhance engagement – especially among target audiences
• Ability to monitor, track and report metrics across social media platforms.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $59,500.00 to a maximum of $98,300.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
