SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/PROGRAM ANALYST - $110K. Every other Friday off.
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that blends the precision of accounting with the strategic insight of program analysis? We're seeking a talented individual to fill our Senior Accountant/Program Analyst position, where you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do: - Dive into the heart of our operations, performing essential general and cost accounting functions.
- Provide invaluable program cost analysis, guiding our decision-making with your insights.
- Craft meticulous analyses and accounting reports in line with GAAP standards.
- Become the go-to expert on Federal/State Regulations and GAAP, offering technical advice and guidance. Be the financial backbone of our team by preparing journal entries and monthly/quarterly financial packages.
- Take charge of monthly detailed analyses of major GL accounts, ensuring our financial health.
- Prepare for audits and government surveys with thorough financial information gathering.
- Keep our financial world in balance with intercompany billing and reconciliation.
- Forecast cash weekly and monthly, ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Support program finance with reviews, reports, and analysis of EACs, ETCs, client requirements, and material disbursements.
- Bring clarity to program cost and schedules, providing detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Prepare program control plans, financial summaries, and reports for Program Management, ensuring we're on track.
- Evaluate programs at every stage to ensure we're meeting financial obligations and contractual requirements.
- Play a key role in new business proposals and project projections, analyzing requirements for success.
- Be the linchpin of our monthly closing processes in Costpoint, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Track and record capital equipment as fixed assets, ensuring our resources are optimized.
- Foster a positive work environment with your professional and courteous conduct towards colleagues, clients, and vendors.
What We're Looking For:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance is a must; a master's degree in business or financial management is a plus.
- 5 - 8 years of general accounting experience within a manufacturing environment, ensuring you're ready to hit the ground running.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, bringing your tech savvy to the table.
- Costpoint experience is highly preferred, showcasing your familiarity with essential tools.
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, providing strategic insights into our operations.
- Government accounting experience is a big plus, demonstrating your versatility.
- Knowledge of EVMS is an advantage, showing your readiness to handle complex projects.

Note: Manufacturing experience is a must, and a defense background would be a plus but not required.
