Job description
Responsibilities:
- Planning, coordinating, configuring, installing, and managing all data and network infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Windows, and Linux systems, to ensure operational efficiency and meet business requirements.
- Providing technical expertise in implementing new technologies, focusing on Kubernetes containerization and Linux administration.
- Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues with a focus on high availability and performance.
- Collaborating with System Architects and Engineers to design, optimize, and secure the infrastructure.
- Monitoring system activity and performance metrics, identifying potential issues, and implementing proactive solutions.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and logs of system configuration and changes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in network infrastructure management.
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Secret clearance required.
- 5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere virtualization environments.
- 2+ years of experience in network engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in data center operations.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes.
- Experience installing, configuring, and administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Expertise with VMware technologies like vSphere, NSX-T, NSX Advanced Load Balancer, and vCloud Director (vCD).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- PKI Certificates
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
