About the Role & Program
Do you have a passion for the film business, Disney, and a keen interest in post production?
Disney Digital Studio Services offers a broad array of digital file-based services in support of filmmaking, mastering, asset finishing, and distribution, as well as sound mixing, editorial rooms, theatre and screening rooms.
We currently have an intern opportunity to work with our Disney Digital Studio Services team for the summer! This internship will work with the team on strategic projects related to the digital supply chain from beginning to end.
What You Will Do
Support the internal mastering workflow from order creation, fulfillment, and QC in the following ways:
Identify operational metrics and generating models/dashboards
Refinement of Scorecard metrics gathering and procedures
Refinement and improvement of existing production tools and methods
Identify and gather user requirements related to software improvement
Map workflows
Administrative tasks -- assisting with work order generation, day-to-day ad hoc support, gathering of requirements, assets and deliverables
Required Qualifications & Skills
Ability to think strategically about end to end workflows to suggest and complete operational efficiency improvements
Conceptual understanding of the order lifecycle, not limited to any specific goods and or industry
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point and familiarity with workflow diagram applications such as Visio or Lucid Chart
Ability to keep multiple projects, at different phases in their life cycle, moving forward through completion
An understanding of operational metrics
Ability to work under pressure and still maintain an organized approach
Education
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Media, Cinema or Business-related studies or similar, or having recently graduated from such program within 6 months of application.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Possess unrestricted work authorization

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024- August 2024
Able to have a consistent and reliable full-time work schedule throughout the internship
Able to provide own housing and transportation during the internship in the Burbank area
