REPORTS TO:Associate Director of Grounds and Custodial Services
SCHEDULE:Hours are primarily Monday through Friday, but responsibilities may occasionally require additional hours and flexibility that can include evenings and weekends.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:Duties will be assigned by the Grounds Coordinator
Maintenance and repair of grounds equipment including, but not limited to:
Electrical and Hydraulic systems
Gasoline and Diesel engines
Two- and Four-Cycle engines
Mechanical repairs
Routine groundskeeping tasks including, but not limited to, hand mowing, string trimming, tractor mowing, riding mower mowing, pruning, plant bed preparation, planting of trees, shrubs and other plantsGrounds experience is required.
Applicants must be age 18 or older
Texas Driver License with acceptable driving record required.
Have the mechanical skills, knowledge, and experience to perform the work described in #1 above.
Work is labor intensive, and applicants must be able to work in various weather extremes.
