Job description
Position Overview:
The Superintendent will provide onsite management and leadership for multiple construction projects. They will be responsible for overseeing the installation, inspection, and maintenance of the construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities: Direct and manage project development from beginning to end, while maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring that all project objectives are met within budget and on schedule.
Establish project plans, budgets, and objectives, as well as communication practices, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and other external parties to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes for the construction, retail, hospital, healthcare, commercial, warehouse, airport, and industrial projects.
Coordinate and monitor the progress of projects, to ensure that timeframes and budgets are met.
Monitor project expenses and provide timely reports to management.
Provide effective leadership and guidance to project teams.
Identify potential risks and develop strategies for avoiding and mitigating those risks.
Facilitate quality control processes to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.
Ensure that all necessary safety and security protocols are followed.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, regulations, and safety standards related to construction, retail, hospital, healthcare, commercial, warehouse, airport, and industrial projects.
Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to effectively manage budgets and timelines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
