We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor for our dynamic lending team. The ideal candidate will have years of mortgage processing experience, a can-do attitude, and a proven track record of providing solutions in the mortgage lending industry. Responsibilities: • Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval • Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from origination to close • Determine the best loan option for the borrower through interviewing and discussion • Adhere to all lending and regulatory guidelines and policies while preparing the loan file • Decide the creditworthiness and complete the mortgage loan application by working with the borrower to obtain necessary and verified financial documentation, such as credit reports • This person will fill the front-end origination role for our clients by acting as a liaison between the client, processing, and underwriting to ensure a smooth and seamless loan transaction and preapproval for our borrowers and referral partners. • They will take applications, qualify, and meet with prospective customers. Qualifications: • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required • Minimum of 2+ years loan processing experience required • Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills • Must know guidelines for both Fannie, Freddie, and Ginnie products • Able to read and interpret AUS findings • Must be licensed or able to pass exam and be licensed within 90 days of the start date • Able to read and interpret a credit report • 1-year experience with Encompass LOS • Able to commute daily to office in Fort Collins, Colorado About Company: We are one of the largest loan production teams in Northern Colorado.
