Job description
All A-V Services is seeking a passionate and skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual equipment and systems for various events and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and testing audio visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, microphones, and video conferencing systems
- Operating and troubleshooting audio visual equipment
- Assisting with the installation and integration of audio visual systems
- Collaborating with clients and team members to determine audio visual requirements
- Providing technical support and training to clients on audio visual equipment usage
- Ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of audio visual equipment
- Following safety procedures and protocols during setup, operation, and takedown of equipment
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in audio visual systems and equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have:
- Knowledge and experience in audio visual systems setup, operation, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of various audio and video formats and technologies
- Proficiency in operating audio visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, and microphones
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy audio visual equipment
A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant certifications in audio visual technology are strongly preferred.
