Job description
We are looking for fun, energetic people to join our special events team!
Team Member for Farmer’s Markets in the Atlanta and North Georgia areas from April - October. These events primarily take place in Alpharetta and Roswell early Saturday mornings, although there are frequently other opportunities to work events outside of these recurring markets.
Qualifications –
1. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record to drive to/from market and our base in Alpharetta
2. Able to lift 30 lbs.
3. Enjoys working with customers - making small talk, answering questions & spreading good energy!
4. Able to handle money and make change, use handheld device to input orders and process payment.
5. Some common knowledge about coffee and/or the interest to learn.
Description –
1. Drive truck one or both ways to market site or meet the market staff at the market.
2. Help set up stand with tents, prepared coffee/other drinks, packaged coffee and other merchandise.
3. Interact with customers, including pouring drinks, grinding coffee, collecting payment
4. Restocking displays. You can’t sell something that is not made readily available to the customer.
5. Help take apart display, load equipment and supplies into truck, take down tents and pack up truck.
6. Occasionally return to the Boarding Pass Coffee base to help unload, wash, and put away items.
