Your Role:
As an Insurance Trust Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing, reconciling, and maintaining accounting records for insurance trust accounts. Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, managing cash flow, and providing routine reporting are key aspects of this role. Collaboration with leadership and other teams is essential, as is delivering exceptional customer service and support during audits.

Responsibilities:
- Manage, reconcile, and maintain accounting records for insurance trust accounts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Oversee cash flow in and out of trust accounts
- Prepare and deliver required reporting on a routine basis
- Communicate with leadership regarding variances or issues
- Collaborate with teams to address inquiries and provide financial information
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary support to auditors
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance trust accounting
- Strong background in insurance accounting
- Excellent understanding of accounting regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills (including Vlookups and pivot tables)
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Associates or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
