Sentara Healthcare , an award-winning, nationally recognized, non-profit, integrated healthcare system is expanding our thoracic program into Hampton, Virginia. Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced Thoracic Surgeon to help build our comprehensive program on the Virginia Peninsula. Join our team of 6 Surgeons including 2 Surgical Oncologists.

Single hospital coverage at State-of-The-Art, 224 bed, Sentara CarePlex Hospital.
Strong referral system with PCCM, GI, Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology. Must be comfortable performing the full spectrum of general thoracic surgery care inclusive of malignant and non-malignant diseases of the lungs, pleura, diaphragm, and the mediastinum including the esophagus. Advanced skills in bronchoscopy, thoracoscopic and laparoscopic surgery techniques are preferred and must have established skills in minimally invasive surgery and/or robotic assisted surgery.
