Job description

Johnstone Supply is looking for a driven individual to become a part of our outside sales team. An opportunity for limitless earning potential, exciting challenges, and the chance to make an impact in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities: 

• Identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold-calling.
• Generate and qualify leads to build a strong sales pipeline
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
• Discover client needs, challenges, and goals to help provide solutions
• Address client inquiries and concerns
• Present products and services to potential clients
• Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system
• Collaborate with team members in marketing, support, and product development
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and showcase the company's products and services 
• Travel to meet clients and conduct sales presentations
• Keep updated on industry trends, competitor's activities and market updates

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• College degree preferred
• 2 + years of sales experience
• Knowledge of HAVC/building supplies preferred
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Proficiency with computers and different software systems required
• Direct sales experience in the business-to-business HVAC/R or similar industry preferred
