Job description

- Collection of electrophysiology datasets and assistance in development of experiments
- Provide documentation and reports of analysis for preparation of manuscripts, lab protocols, and grants
- Statistical analysis of electrophysiology datasets using MATLAB/Python
- Contribute to manuscript writing
- Participate in lab meetings and give work-in-progress presentations as needed
- Collection of clinical data for clinical research experiments
- BS/BA in science-focused degree
- Proficient in the use of Excel
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to plan, document, analyze and report data; highly motivated and organized, proven capability of time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of diverse staff, co-workers, investigators
- Independence and ability to prioritize work demands and to coordinate and document research findings with other staff
- Organizational skills and careful attention to details to satisfactorily perform job duties
- High level of self-motivation and integrity
- Experience working in person with patients
- Experience with clinical/medical writing
- Must be able to work independently, to problem solve, to produce clear documentation of work, to produce graphical summaries of data, to contribute to the writing of manuscripts, and grant applications
