We value the safety of our associates! The Maintenance Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.

The Mechanic, Maintenance is responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Performs general electrical and/or repairs of and various equipment on company premises. Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

·  Rebuild internal combustion lift truck engines and other lift truck components, such as electric motors, cylinders, brake systems, electrical systems, drive units, mast assemblies and frame weldments.

·  Perform safety operational tests.

·  Complete necessary repair paperwork.

·  Perform pre-delivery inspections and repairs to new equipment. Make any necessary adjustments and handle warranty repairs.

·  Add/remove lift attachments and accessories such as clamps/slips, sheets/side shifts, lights and audible devices as required. Handle any hydraulic or electrical adaptations.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: OSHA Forklift operator certificate; HVAC certification; ammonia
