The Immigration Victim Advocate serves as a primary point of contact for victims served by the Survivors Immigration Legal Project (SIL Project) of Legal Aid Society. The Immigration Advocate coordinates with attorneys; establishes and maintains positive working relationships with organizations in the service area and state that benefit the client population; prepares and presents community education workshops and conducts outreach events about Legal Aid Society’s mission and services. The Immigration Victim Advocate will be responsible for coordination of services to assist clients in increasing stability factors in their lives and accessing community resources throughout the LASMTC 48-county service area. This position is funded in part by, and in collaboration with, one or more grants. Personnel must adhere to goals and outcomes detailed in the grant contract. This position is funded for the duration of the grant and subsequent renewal may result in modification of job duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Social work experience a plus.
