Job Summary
We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Production Technician. A Production Technician in the Manufacturing Unit works from specific verbal and/or written instructions to operate the appropriate process equipment to produce a consistent product.
Job Description
- Loads and unloads process equipment.
- Operates process equipment to maintain product within customer specifications.
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Follows all safety regulations.
- Operate forklift.
- Operate jockey truck.
- Maintain lot integrity by keeping accurate batch/run sheets.
- Knowledge of safety regulations associated with a chemical operation.
- Knowledge of proper material handling procedures
- Various other tasks as needed.
Skills Required
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Able to work in hot or cold environments.
- Ability to stand extended amounts of time.
Educational/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
- Specific pre-employment requirements would be a standard background check and be able to clear our required hearing conversation examination, mobile equipment operator examination & respirator (NotSCBA) examination.
- Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm; Overtime when needed.
Pay Rate
- Starting at $21.00 per hour and more depending on experience.
