This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Portfolio Director plays a key leadership role on the Global Product team by leading teams that manage product implementation; as well as our team managing product operations, training, and analytics.

of the Team:

The Product Implementation team is responsible for ensuring business partners understand the value of new products and features – and ensure that we introduce best practices that facilitate effective change management for all employees impacted by those changes.  Responsibilities include working with members of Global Product, operations, Employee Communications, and various other business leadership stakeholder groups to set the strategy and drive the effective introduction and adoption of new products into our business. This also includes working closely with group level/ operational leadership and Talent Development to define and implement user enablement strategies, training, and innovative technologies like in-app messaging and video training.

The Product Operations, Training and Analytics team actively collaborates with internal departments to craft and execute product analytics strategies, focusing on aspects such as product usage, adoption, and key performance indicators. The team partners with Product Management and leadership to shed light on areas of success and areas of opportunity with the goal of optimizing product performance and ultimately drive desired business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to drive adoption and utilization of new products and services
• Identify and assess impacts of new products and features, and formulate plans to ensure effective change management and adoption across operational products
• Ensure change / implementation initiatives meet objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage; Develop and analyze reporting to understand employee adoption and adjust change management methods as necessary

• Establish and manage a data-driven approach to develop product scorecards; Manage to those scorecards through line reviews to evaluate product health and growth for all products
• Develop direct reports to their full potential through training, coaching and feedback; Provide guidance on the development of indirect reports, which may include multiple reporting layers; Work with individuals on the team to create training and learning opportunities and cultivate strengths and talents; Assist in resources planning and staffing for the team, anticipating needs for additional resources and personnel through forecasting and budgeting
• Understand business strategy from executive team and Product Management to ensure that the ensuing operational change is aligned with business goals
• Develop business cases for product analytic efforts and obtain organizational support
• Direct the launch of new products in partnership with cross-functional business partners
• Ensure the team establishes a thorough process for documenting and communicating user needs and feedback to product management in an effective manner; Provide recommendations for enhancements to address unmet user needs or pain points

Qualifications

Minimum :

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future 8
• 8 or more years of product management experience including leading multiple products, product managers/owners
• Must have prior experience managing people
