Location -  Irvine, CA (preferred) or San Diego, CA. This is an in-office position.

Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team in the Irvine or San Diego office. The successful candidate will have experience in both Salesforce development and Data processes. In addition to technical skills, candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of the regulations and compliance requirements of the Medical Device industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate those into technical requirements
• Build Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow, leveraging the full capabilities of the Salesforce Platform to support business requirements
• Create and modify Apex Triggers and record-triggered flows
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model and understanding of how to leverage the model to build scalable applications
• Develop ETL processes and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into and out of Salesforce
• Experience with server-side runtimes (e.g. Node.js, Java, Python, C++), front-end web development experience (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, related frameworks), and/or database experience (SQL)
• Support system demos and User Acceptance Testing to document bugs and gather change requests for future sprints
• Implement best practices for platform security scalability and reliability, ensuring data quality and integrity with a focus on transaction speed and governor limits
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and configuration management using Scripting
• Operates with high standards that are aligned to Certified B-Corp values
• Consider the beneficiaries of Beta Bionics' Public Benefit Mission with all actions and decisions

Required Education and Experience

• BS degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, or other related)
• 2+ years of experience with APEX development, API usage, governor limits, test coverage; a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform overall is a must
• 1+ years of experience with Business Intelligence ETL tools to manage data transformations and workflows
• Strong knowledge of salesforce data objects and integration patterns
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Startup experience
• Medical Devices Industry experience
• Salesforce developer certification
• FDA's regulations on medical devices
• HIPAA regulations on patient privacy

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment

• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office
  equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, and scanners.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with co-workers.
• This position requires travel depending upon business needs.

Location

Irvine, CA (preferred) or San Diego, CA. This is an in-office position.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000
