As a Senior Manager, Global Social & Digital Marketing Strategy with the CPGP Marketing Team, you will lead the strategic development of global social and digital marketing programs for our franchises across Disney and Pixar (Mickey & Friends, Disney Princess, Toy Story, etc.) You’ll be responsible to develop the strategy and guidelines for influencer programs and guide a large team of partners across the globe to develop compelling social and digital marketing programs to reach and engage our target consumers. This is a newly created role! We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that can build relationships with leaders across Disney teams (brand, creative, PR, commercial teams, retail, etc.) and build relationships with our global partners (Lego, Mattel, Jakks, Funko, H&M, etc.) The Senior Manager will have experience working with internal and external agencies, social media influencers, content creators and digital and social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
The position will report to the Director of Global Marketing Strategy, Disney & Pixar CPGP.
This is a Full-Time role.
Build the global social & digital marketing strategy for all our priority global CPGP campaigns across the Disney and Pixar brands, including all Disney cross-franchise seasonal and retail campaigns.
Create global influencer strategies by identifying suitable talent tied to campaign objectives, measuring the impact and outcomes and mitigating risk around partnerships.
Develop new ways to measure the business impact of our global social and digital work as we drive relevancy and affinity with our franchises and engagement and crave for our products.
Write global social media briefs and guidelines that enable regional teams to activate against our global programs most effectively while ensuring we uphold brand safety and corporate guidelines.
Pitch creative ways for us to go-to-market with our key global partners that enable us to maximize our reach and efficiency across our ecosystems of owned channels and drive sell-through of our products.
Be the global subject matter expert on digital and social media trends and partner with our campaign development teams to hone the content strategy to emerging digital landscapes for all marketing programs.
Build relationships with global media partners to ensure we have the most effective strategies in place to reach our core audiences (families co-viewing content, Gen Z, etc.)
Track the implementation of our global social and digital programs; monitor and analyze social media tactics to improve performance in real time and drive improvements for future global social and digital marketing efforts.
Collaborate closely with Disney leaders across Enterprise Brand Management, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Customer Engagement, Brand Commercialization, Licensing, and Retail Marketing on our programs.
Present our programs to synergy leaders within TWDC to understand how else they can come to life to drive affinity and relevancy for our franchises and crave for our products.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, best-practices in social media, and experience guiding creative teams to deliver compelling content, influencer marketing, and organic social media programs.
A track record of driving compelling social media and influencer campaigns, delivering creative excellence, creating buzz, and positively impacting brand sentiment.
Strong vision, superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage and influence internal and external partners and stakeholders.
The ability to succinctly frame up a verbal or written POV/presentation.
Strong presentation skills with extensive experience in creating and presenting a clear and compelling narrative to influence others, including internal and external senior executives.
Thrives in ambiguity and leading teams through changes in strategic direction and/or priorities.
An immense love for storytelling, creativity and collaboration.

Experience leading global social and digital marketing campaigns
Progressive experience in Social Media Marketing and/or Marketing Strategy in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Consumer Products, Entertainment or Media Networks industry.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent
Master's in Business Administration

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $148,700 - $199,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
