Job description
$35.48/hr. + $2.50/hr. Shift Differential for evening, night, and weekend shifts
Shifts: 11:00 pm- 7:30 am (8 to 29 hours per week)
The psychiatric nurse, RN delivers nursing care to individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders at the Regional Crisis Stabilization Center (RCSC). Assists a staff psychiatrist in the prescription, administration, and monitoring of client medications; performs client assessments and other medically based treatment services and provides crisis and supportive counseling. This includes providing initial nursing assessments of individual health and mental status, analyzing data to determine medical and nursing care as needed, planning a treatment strategy to meet identified needs, and evaluating responses to nursing and medical interventions. Provides oversight for medication management.
Requirements : Registered Nurse with one (1) year of behavioral health experience. The candidate will register to practice as a QMHP-A trainee within the first 30 days of employment.
Current HNNCSB are not eligible for the Sign-on Bonus
The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
