Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Milford, Connecticut is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The position will work closely with the superintendent on all facets of the golf course operation, including capital project management, IPM programs, budget development, and equipment maintenance. Individuals must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills, and willing to go the extra mile for the betterment of GRGC. A successful candidate will be reliable, forward-thinking, and able to manage staff and projects. He or she must demonstrate strong computer skills to maintain record keeping, daily and yearly scheduling, and data tracking. The assistant must be willing to work select weekends during the golf season.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree.
2-4 years experience on high-end golf course.
Project management is preferred.
Strong understanding of irrigation/moisture management.
Fertilizer and sprayer calibration.
Computer record keeping.
Compensation:
$60,000 – $70,000 per year.
