StrideCare is a multi-specialty physician group focused on delivering comprehensive lower extremity care across Texas. Our expert doctors specialize in the treatment of foot and ankle problems, lower extremity care, vascular and vein care. Our physicians and surgeons offer multi-disciplinary treatment for common and complex conditions including diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, neuropathy, diabetic foot ulcers, and venous insufficiency.
StrideCare is headquartered in Dallas, Texas with practices across the state.
Job Duties and Responsibilities : - Examines patients for risk of vascular disease
- Perform new patient evaluations and pre- and post-procedure assessments.
- Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Provide thorough patient education and discussion of procedure expectations.
- Coordinate pre- and post-procedure care including, but not limited to phone follow-ups, medication management, ordering and interpreting pertinent laboratory and imaging studies, peri-procedural pain management.
- Assist and perform office-based procedures under physician supervision.
- Orders and studies diagnostic test (blood test, X-rays, etc.)
- Diagnoses health conditions and illnesses
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality
- And other duties as assigned within scope of practice
Qualifications, Education, and Skill Requirements: - Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current and unrestricted license as a nurse practitioner in the state of Texas
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical, hospital, ER, or other setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to set priorities while managing multiple task
- Must be ethical and moral
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Extensive knowledge of health and patient care regulations
