Job description
We are hiring MIG welders of all levels, from entry level to AWS certified, and experienced professionals. For entry level candidates, you will start with tacking off production and gradually move onto the fabrication floor. All work will be inspected. You will need to pass a weld test which includes reading a blueprint and a math test (including fractions). Only steel welding is required, but TIG experience is a plus. Ideal candidates will have experience in tank and structural welding. You will be working on a variety of projects from automotive, heavy equipment, housing, hydraulics, construction, and agricultural industries.
You will be joining a small, tight-knit team of 20-25 professionals. We are aiming to double our team size. The environment is a typical shop setting, so candidates must be resilient and ready to work. The work hours for the 1st shift start at 6 am, include a non-paid break from 9 to 9:15, non-paid lunch from 12 to 12:30, and end at 2:45, completing an 8-hour shift. Dress code requires you to have your own steel-toed boots, the rest of the work gear will be provided.
