Oakwood Veneer Company in Troy, MI is seeking to hire a Full-time - Social Media Marketing Specialist to oversee the Company's day-to-day Social Media Marketing and including Content Creation & Scheduling, Monitoring, Analytics, Videos and Graphics, Planning and Strategy as well as Internal Marketing. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING SPECIALST

As a Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you enjoy the variety in your work in our fast-paced and fun work environment. The tasks will be varied but will include many of the following:

• Reports to and works with the Marketing Team Lead as well as upper management as a combined Marketing team to best address social media marketing and other marketing needs.
• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all social media platforms including but not limited to: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter/X.com, Pintrest, LinkedIn and more.
• Video Creation and Editing skills to create for cross platform social media video performance on Tiktok, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Tracking and administering A/B Test for various social media marketing campaigns.
• Digital and other marketing creation content to directly support the sales team as needed. Example: Creating price list and other content.
• Working with the Marketing team to properly manage the distribution of videos on YouTube, Twitter/X.com, LinkedIn, Tiktok and all other video platforms.
• Working with various departments to create and manage Social media and other digital marketing content, as well as internal training documents & videos.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Social Media & Digital Marketing and understands the various aspects necessary to properly promote and encourage the delivery of warm leads to the sales team and shopping card to increase sales.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years of Digital or Social Media Marketing Experience Required, with video content experience a plus.
• Associates degree or higher (Business degree and/or Marketing specialization a plus).
• Superior People skills.
• Ability to multi-task & Sense of urgency.
• Team Oriented Behavior.
• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including the ability to rapidly learn social media marketing platforms and video software.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM - Including Ability to Touch Type (type without looking at the keys)
• Ability to work in the Office 100% of the time.

TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE

A typical schedule for this position is full time Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with some modest flexibility available to enable work life balance. Part time hours could be as little as 5 hours daily Monday-Friday or Three business days per week. This is a fully in person role at our Troy location.
