Are you an experienced and skilled Brake Press Operator looking for a new opportunity to showcase your talents? Look no further! Platinum Recruiting is hiring for a reputable and thriving company. First Shift opportunity Monday through Thursday 7:00AM-3:30PM. Starting Pay $19-24 p/hour DOE !
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Use of critical measuring equipment. (Comb. Squares, Protractor's, Angle Finders, Measuring Tape etc.)
- Use of Jib Cranes, Overhead Cranes and Forklift's to load or unload material.
- Die Set-up/ Changeover
- Interpreting of Part Print.
- Proper adjustments of presses and dies.
- Daily housekeeping of assigned area.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - Previous experience setting dies and operating stamping or brake presses required.
- Previous experience moving large heavy parts with a PIT and Overhead Cranes.
- High School Diploma/GED
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Regular reaching with arms extended.
- Bending to pick up and place parts on the floor.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs Pulling suspended loads by hand during use of jib crane.
- Regular twisting and turning at the waste. Positioning heavy parts in the press by hand.1
