Job description
Job Title: Broadband Installer
Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 annually ($31.25 - $38.46 hourly) - component / piece pay.
Benefits: Health insurance, PTO, 401k, etc.
Location: High Point, NC
Must Haves:
- 1 yr of experience installing fiber to the home
- Provide your own vehicle capable of having a ladder rack attached to it for carrying a 32' ladder
- All required work authorization for employment in the United States. No visa sponsorship provided.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Broadband Installer to join our team. As a Broadband Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining high-speed internet and other communication services for residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure broadband equipment and related devices in customers' homes and businesses.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with broadband services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support by answering questions and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while working at heights and in tight spaces.
- Follow company procedures and guidelines for proper equipment handling and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology, trends, and industry developments related to broadband installation and services.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in broadband installation, telecommunications, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of networking and computer hardware/software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
