Job description

To provide infrastructure engineering for data center, compute, storage, network, Unified Communications, and remote site servers

• Design, deliver, and optimize Virtual Infrastructure Services to improve security, availability, performance, and resource utilization.
• Review current virtual infrastructures, architectures, designs, and operations to identify potential improvements.
• Analyze, refine, and document the requirements for transition from legacy architectures into modern virtualized infrastructure environment.
• Design virtual Infrastructure services to maximize available capacity of physical compute, storage, and network hardware resources.
• Document security, configuration, and performance benchmarks of Virtual Infrastructure Services

· Proven expertise in the VMware suite of cloud computing and virtualization technology

· Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)

· Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.

· Professional-level VMware certifications desired.

· ITIL Foundations certification desired

Level 3: Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD. 

Level 4: Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
