Today we are seeking a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join our client's team in Troy, NY.

This is for their highly regarded and long-standing Behavioral Health program in Troy, NY.

Essential Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

-Provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Troy and join a team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners in providing compassionate care to their patients.

-Provide longevity and consistent continuing care to their patients.

Other Key Responsibilities are:
-See an average number of Patients Per Day: 15-20 varies based on how many new patient's vs follow up. Typically, new patients are about 60-minute visits and follow ups are about 20 minutes.
-Provide treatment and care for an adult psychiatric patient population is
preferred

Qualifications & Education required:
Valid Board Certified in Psychiatry
Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

Schedule and Shift Details:
Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends; 1:7 weeknights.
