Job description
What will you do?
Manufacture latex and quantum dot particles-based reagents following manufacturing batch records, standard operating protocols, and work instructions.
Conduct chemical analysis and characterization of intermediates and finish products as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products meet customer requirements.
Occasionally assist in repetitive task such as aliquoting reagents, vialing and labeling of products.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Education
Minimum of BS/BA Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area.
Experience
Proficient in general chemical laboratory techniques and procedures such as rotary evaporation, pipetting, UV-vis and emission spectroscopy and safe handling of chemicals including organic solvents.
Experience in one or more of organic, particles, quantum dots, and conjugation chemistry is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
