Description:
As a Database Developer III, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's database systems. This senior-level position involves a range of responsibilities, from collecting and analyzing data to implementing code and testing databases for optimal functionality. Collaborating closely with the Frontend Development Team, you'll ensure seamless integration and contribute to a cohesive development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain database systems, encompassing hardware, software, and network components.
Analyze data, create algorithms, draw flowcharts, and implement code to meet organizational needs.
Test databases, troubleshoot issues, and provide comprehensive test reports and improvement suggestions.
Develop and maintain database documentation, supplying users with operational manuals and supporting documentation.
Supervise and mentor project team members and Team ManTech staff.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with nine (9) years of experience (or HS diploma with 13 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 11 years of experience).
5 years of position-specific relevant experience.
DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in software development or a related discipline.
4 years of experience in an Agile development environment.
DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III Certification.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/FSP Clearance before starting the position.
Must be a US Citizen.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to be stationary 50% of the time, with occasional movement within the office to access file cabinets and communicate with colleagues, management, and clients through various channels, including email, phone, and virtual communication, potentially involving presentations.
