Job description

Join our team as an HR Intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in human resources management. As an intern, you'll support various HR functions and learn about recruitment, employee relations, training, and other aspects of HR administration.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Scanning paper files in digital employee files
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
• Provides clerical support to the HR Manager.
• May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
• Assists with new hire orientation.
• Assist with performance review process.
• Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conduct phone screens and scheduling interviews with hiring managers.

EDUCATION:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or master's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the HR team's success.

ABILITIES: Must demonstrate strong leadership and effective communication skills. Excellent planning, organization and managements skills. Ability to multi-task, works in a fast-paced work environment, and demonstrates team cooperation.
