Job description
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our client for a hybrid opportunity in King of Prussia, PA! The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing, forecasting, and reporting on the financial performance of the company across all lines of business. This Direct-Hire opportunity offers an annual salary range of $70,000-$84,000/year based on experience!Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analysis on the Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) and provide insights to senior management.
Develop and implement a robust process for understanding claims data, including prior period analysis, current results, and forecasting future periods.
Prepare, analyze, and review financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and streamline data to enhance efficiency.
Establish quality analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business decisions and productivity.
Support the Product Profitability Model and conduct line of business analysis.
Perform ad hoc analysis and build financial models to inform operating strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities.
Act as a finance business partner to internal customers, providing guidance, support, and analysis to achieve business and financial objectives.
Lead and support key strategic initiatives and projects across the company.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or other advanced degree/certification is a plus.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related analytical roles.
Health insurance background is essential.
Experience with reporting on results of claims data within the health insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, business processes, and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with impeccable business judgment.
Proven experience in complex financial modeling and analysis.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills required.
Experience with Salesforce.com, Adaptive Insights, or other reporting and planning applications preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies.
Minimum internet speed of 75 Mbps required.
