Job description
The Logistics Manager will manage the logistics group of both hourly and salaried personnel responsible for stockroom, receiving, and shipping. Will be responsible for establishing work priorities, process adherence and continuous improvement activities related to supporting inventory control, flow of material to the operations floor, and shipping finished goods to our customers. The Manager will be responsible for the training and development of assigned direct reports. Will conduct personnel reviews bi-annually, but will provide continuous feedback to assigned employees. Responsible for the development and implementation of KPI's the drive business results. Manager will ensure that all company security and safety processes are understood and adhered to by self and team. Will routinely utilize MRP systems to accurately control inventory. Candidate must be comfortable running reports, putting together various Metrics utilizing information to drive the business, and presenting information to various levels throughout the organization. Must have good computer skills, specifically Office applications. Will work cross functionally with multiple areas of plant including Operations, Quality, Program Management, Supply Chain, IT, and Tech Ops.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and /or the requirements to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Candidate should have a bachelor's degree and 8-10 years work experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop reports/presentations and comfortable presenting to various organizational levels.
- Must understand and embrace a lead by example philosophy
- Demonstrated ability to lead groups, develop employees, and build a culture of trust
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Demonstrated ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and leverage individual talents and abilities to drive business results.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $123360 - $209760
