Responsibilities - The Quality RN is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of quality improvement activities throughout the Healthcare System.
- This role also works to maintain and report data in compliance with regulatory agencies and educates personnel on the principles of quality improvement.
- The Reviewer works in collaboration with Risk Management, Infection Prevention, and Medical Staff Office to achieve change in an effort to improve services and reduce risk.
- This role compiles and presents information for quality programs.
- The RN works collaboratively as part of the health system team living by the BSA Mission and Vision.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- Associates degree in Nursing
- Current Texas RN License
- BLS (Basic life support) certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- CPHQ Certification
- Experience working with healthcare coding, Joint Commission standards, and CMS regulations
- 3-5 years acute care nursing experience
