We are looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to repair and service new, leased, and used vehicles to meet customer and brand satisfaction standards for our Nissan dealership. Responsibilities* Inspect vehicles for damage and records findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
- Troubleshoot fuel, ignition, and emissions control systems, using electronic testing equipment.
- Repair, overhaul or adjust automobile brake systems.
- Test electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure proper operation.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as assigned Requirements:
- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Bilingual a plus.
- Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
- Critical thinking along with judgement and decision making.
- Reliable
Qualifications
- ASE certifications are ideal
- Strong automotive background and knowledge
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Positively, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
