The Data Engineer Intern should be a junior level in their degree program with an understanding of writing software and tests that meets the outlined requirements. A successful candidate will be highly self-directed, an excellent problem-solver, communicator and be able to work with all levels of the organization.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources.
• Support critical data processes running in production.
• Assist in building and supporting data pipelines that perform complex ETL functions.
• Develop post-implementation production support for data pipelines.
• Develop solutions to measure, improve, and monitor data quality based on business requirements.

Qualifications

• Some hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Snowflake, SQLpipe, Aurora Postgres, Apache Airflow, Lambda, PySpark etc…
• Some hands-on experience with GitHub.
• Knowledge of RDBMS platforms, such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and Postgres.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members, technical support groups, and management.

Education

Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field preferred.
