Serve as a mentor to staff and provide stability and leadership within a thriving veterinarian hospital near Kansas City as a Medical Director.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, success-minded, client-focused leader with strong experience in veterinary medicine to fulfill this exciting role and take the practice to a greater level of success!
The Role Essential Responsibilities
Supporting DVMs to develop an understanding and best practices of how behaviors impact revenue.
Provide DVM's one-on-one development supporting quarterly production, reviewing production performance, and coaching for improvement.
Work with the Hospital manager on weekly priorities and expectations
Meet regularly with the hospital manager to review controllable costs: DVM and Support Payroll Inventory.
Work in collaboration with the hospital manager to maintain and build our relationships with the referring community.
Evaluate and monitor protocols for daily running/flow of the hospital from intake to discharge.
Play a significant part in the decision-making process and implementation of any new initiatives within their hospital.

Medical Director providing clinical, surgical, and specialty responsibilities (60-80% of the time)
Examine, diagnose, and treats animals surgically or medically
Operate medical equipment
Client communication about care, medical conditions, and treatments
Prescribe medication
